Kent Paulsen
Captain Kent has spent his entire life learning the waters and woods of northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. After tying into his first Lake Superior steelhead in the spring of 1998, he was hooked! Kent moved to Duluth in 2002 to attend UMD. During this time, Kent learned the ropes as a first mate on several charter boats and began guiding on the Brule River. Over the years, Kent’s passion for the outdoors has only grown and in 2016 he co-founded FishNorthMN with his long time fishing buddy Jordan Korzenowski. As a father of two, Kent loves sharing the outdoors with kids of all ages and is passionate about preserving our resources for future generations.

Jordan Korzenowski
As a lifelong Duluthian, Captain Jordan has as much experience mastering the waters of Lake Superior and the surrounding area as anyone. Raised with a rod in one hand and a shotgun in the other, Jordan has always had a strong passion for everything outdoors. Jordan has sharpened his skills across the globe, spending significant time in Hawaii, Florida and Alaska. However, Jordan has always returned home to northern Minnesota and co/founded FishNorthMN with Kent Paulsen in 2016. Jordan is one of the most energetic captains in the industry and takes pride in trying new things and developing innovative techniques to catch his clients more fish!
