RV Parking at Lakehead Boat Basin
Lakehead Boat Basin offers 30 RV parking sites. Twelve of the sites have water, electric and sewer. These sites are located immediately to the right as you enter into the gated area and overlook the main front dockage area of the marina. The other eighteen sites have electric and water. These sites are located to the left and behind the building and overlook the Duluth hills, marina and the famous Ariel Lift Bridge. All locations are on blacktop (area used for boat storage in the winter).
The location of the marina is close to downtown (10 blocks) and the Canal Park Area (3 blocks) allowing you to leave your vehicle and tour many sites by foot. The Marine Museum located in Canal Park is the most visited tourist attraction in Minnesota. The marina is the best area to view the July 4th fireworks and closest RV area to the Bayfront Park (10 blocks) which hosts the Blues Festival (August) plus many other outdoor concerts. HINT: make reservations early!
The choice of electrical service ranges from 15 to 50 amp. Sewer dump is also available on site.
